Come Film one of the next World Cup STARS!

We would like to capture footage of Morro during at least two 45 minute segments during upcoming soccer tournaments. The footage needs to be edited and have music overlaid. We will use the video clip to post on youtube and send to coaches as he applies to play with international teams. The first tournament is this Saturday July 10, 11:00 at the Dick's arena. There are other dates in July as well if you are unavailable.

Internship in Glenwood Springs

INTERNSHIP IN GLENWOOD SPRINGS
AUGUST 13 – 16, 2010

I am a graduate of Columbia University's Film School now living in Colorado and I am shooting a short narrative film in August in Western Colorado. I'm fortunate to have a professional HD company and DP/crew doing the project for me pro bono (they are a commercial company but have interest in more artistic projects).

I would like to find a few interns to help mainly with Art Department/Continuity (the Production Company will be supplying their own technical camera crew). Tee project has potential, I think, to go far, and would be a good experience for volunteer crew members.

I also own a Bed and Breakfast in Glenwood Springs, so I would be able to provide very nice accommodations and food for crew members. I would also pay for their gas money involved in coming over here (3 hours from Denver).

SHOOT DATES: Aug 13, 14, 15 and 16.
PREP DATES: as early as Aug 11.

Internship for Futuristic Films

Futuristic Films, a film/video production company headquartered in Denver, CO, is looking for a full to part-time intern for the remainder of the summer.

Futuristic produces motion pictures for advertising, brands and entertainment and seeks an individual who is eager to gain experience in a wide range of production industry facets, including pre-production, location/talent resourcing, shooting, editing/post production and distribution.

The internship candidate must be reliable, flexible, hard-working, and willing to take charge of some of the logistical and office management support functions of the company as well as assist with the coordination of project deliverables for the company’s directors and producers.

This as an unpaid internship but provides invaluable experience in a fast-paced and exciting industry.


Qualifications:

* Excellent interpersonal skills; maintains a professional profile in person and on the phone

* Ability to accomplish projects and duties without ongoing supervision

* Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and email platforms

* Some basic knowledge of the Final Cut editing software platform a plus; a willingness to troubleshoot and build knowledge of codecs and video compressions for web and television applications also important

* Adobe CS3 and CS4 skills are a plus

Definite Productions, a Denver video production company, has an open internship for a Junior Editor.

Intern requirements:

-Skilled in Final Cut Pro
-Basic knowledge of AfterEffects
-Ability to work with flexible schedules
-Ability to work in-studio or remotely
-Knowledge of additional programs such as Photoshop, Logic, ProTools, etc. a plus

The internship pay rate is $10/hr.
