Volunteer Opportunity for students THIS WEEKEND

My husband and I have just recently relocated to the Denver area and we have not yet gathered our crew for shooting. We have small production this weekend and we are looking for a couple students who would be interested in volunteering for this project. We need two or three students total, one or two who have experience in lighting/gaffing (preferably who can bring their equipment), and a student with experience in sound, with equipment. We will be using the Cannon EOS 5D MarkII to film the project along with some green screening, overhead helicopter shots and other various simple production elements. Our goal is to gain knowledgeable crew members while providing industry experience on a professional set. There will be three locations all in the Denver area (details will be given to students upon confirmation of work) students will be responsible for their own transportation to and from locations. The shooting days are Friday, October 29th 10am-7pm, Saturday, October 30th 8am to 5pm, and Sunday October 31st 8am to 3pm.

Compensation for this project is based on volunteer hours, though each student will receive a copy of the final project for their demo reels.

Shock Brothers Studio, LLC, is looking for interns

Shock Brothers Studio, LLC, is looking for interns for a project currently in pre-production. This project is a pilot episode for a tv series and will begin filming within the next three weeks. We have a variety of opportunities available on set and in post-production, especially assisting with lighting, camera work, sound capture, general editing, and special effects. Our existing crew is small, but thoroughly experienced in all areas of production. This project will be shot in a variety of locations in the Denver metro area, on a schedule designed to work around school and job commitments. Help needed to create promotional video

My name is Shannon Dye and I started a company called Camelflage. What Camelflage is, is a undergarment for women. You can check them out on http://www.camelflage.com/. I came up with the name Camelflage to make these funny and light hearted. I would like to keep the video that way too. Humorous but still tasteful. I really don't have a time limit. I am willing to donate $300 for the video. It will be a video to possibly go on my website and definitely youtube. Funny always gets a lot of attention, so again, this person needs to have a sense of humor. Being the face behind the brand I would like to be in the video in someway.

Internship Opportunities with Free Speech TV

Free Speech TV is a national non-profit television station based here in Denver, Colorado. We have a robust internship program in which students directly participate in all aspects of production.

We are currently seeking interns and volunteers for our November Pledge Drive. We will be broadcasting live from our studio in Denver November 15-19, 22-24 and 26 from 13:00 to 18:00. We will have camera, sound and other technical positions available, training and rehearsals will be provided.

I am in the middle of production for a SAG and WGA signatory series and we are in need of directors. Our writers are well-known and live on both coasts, we are working with some excellent SAG actors as well. There will be an article on this project in the October 20th issue of BACKSTAGE magazine.
