Video Project

Here are the details of my proposed video project. I’m hoping to enlist the services of one of your students who might be willing and able to pull this together in a reasonable short time frame (i.e, a few weeks.) Needless to say, I will be evaluating a number of different proposals:
· Length of video: approx 1 minute
· Purpose: Product introduction. Post on business web site, YouTube, etc.
· Desired level of video sophistication: relatively basic; perhaps some voice over and/or captions. High definition not necessary.
· Subject: New product (patent pending); rolling platform approximately 5ft x 8ft for residential garage use. A small sports car is driven onto the platform and the entire assembly (i.e., platform and car) is easily pushed to the side of a garage to get it out of the way and avoid damage from other vehicles, lawn mowers, bikes, etc.
· Target Market: Owners of antique/vintage/collector sports cars.
· Goal of Video: To show how easy it is to drive the car on the platform, move it over to the side of the garage, and then pull it back to center of garage and drive away; very quick, no tools. Probably would be nice to show “the problem” (i.e. tight garage, cars too close together, etc.) and then show the “solution” (i.e., this new product.)
· Location: residential garage in Denver area; my garage or a nicely remodeled garage
· Budget: $1000
· Time Frame: Complete two weeks from start date.
