Futuristic Films, a film/video production company headquartered in Denver, CO, is looking for an intern to work three-to-five days per week.

Futuristic produces motion pictures for advertising, brands and entertainment and seeks an individual who is eager to gain experience in a wide range of production industry facets, including pre-production, location/talent resourcing, shooting, editing/post production and distribution.

The internship candidate must be reliable, flexible, hard-working, and willing to take charge of some of the logistical and office management support functions of the company as well as assist with the coordination of project deliverables for the company’s directors and producers.

This as an unpaid internship but provides invaluable experience in a fast-paced and exciting industry.

Qualifications:


• Excellent interpersonal skills; maintains a professional profile in person and on the phone

• Ability to accomplish projects and duties without ongoing supervision

• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and email platforms
• 
Some basic knowledge of the Final Cut editing software platform a plus; a willingness to troubleshoot and build knowledge of codecs and video compressions for web and television applications also important
• 
Adobe Suites skills are a plus

Eligibility
Currently in school or a recent grad; transportation.

Spring Internship Dates
April-June, 2011 (3-months, with possibility of extending through the summer)
