POSTING CLOSES: 08/24/11, AKA TODAY!
Denver International Airport is looking for a creative Multimedia Producer to join our Communication division.
Are you a multi-faceted creative individual, who is just as comfortable shooting content as editing it? Is your still photography as compelling as your video work? Do you like the feeling of "owning" your finished work... because you were the true creator every step of the way, from shooting to editing to voiceover? Do you enjoy delivering your content through various formats (television, radio, Web sites, social media, magazines, etc.)? This is an amazing opportunity for the right person. Keep reading to see if that person is you.
The Multimedia Producer is the single resource for all of DIA's audio, video and still photography needs. This individual's work will have a variety of audiences including the traveling public, airport employees, and even the general public, as work will often be seen on various news outlets, Web sites, printed materials, and the City of Denver's Channel 8 TV station. The person in this position wears many hats: photographer, videographer, editor, and voiceover talent. The position is also responsible for distribution to a variety of mediums.
The Multimedia Producer needs to be familiar with professional digital photography and video cameras, sound and lighting equipment. This person should be knowledgeable about the Mac operating system, and should have a strong working knowledge of Final Cut Pro and Adobe Creative Suite products. A "self-starter" who is highly motivated to take on creative projects will thrive in this position.
Denver International Airport is the 10th-busiest airport in the world, and the third-busiest airport in the United States. We offer an exceptional opportunity as the scale of our operation spans 53 square miles, over 1.5 million square feet of terminal space, a 50 million annual passenger capacity and North America's longest commercial runway at 16,000 feet. Additionally, we have broken ground on a substantial expansion project which includes a major ground transportation component involving commuter-rail. Together We Soar is our slogan -- come join one of the most progressive airports in the country that believes in building business and employee success.
