Need Producer for Travel Show

We are looking for a producer for a travel film show that we are doing. The show is a spin-off from our travel webzine called Justsaygo.com. We have started creating travel shows that we are currently airing on some public access channels in California, Colorado and Dallas. Our goal is to expand our markets to both commerical and non-commercial in the future. Right now we can't offer payment but I can provide free travel and film credits. Our crew just got back from a shoot on the Western Slope and I was able to secure free accommodations, most meals, activities and other things that were fun for all of us. SEEKING PRODUCER FOR AFI DIRECTING WORKSHOP FOR WOMEN SHORT FILM

The AFI Directing Workshop for Women is a highly regarded program which trains and supports women directors. Participants in this competitive program receive funds and resources from AFI to direct a short film, which is showcased to industry professionals upon completion. Many DWW films go on to receive wide recognition in the film festival circuit.

2009 AFI DWW participant Lisa Gold seeks a producer for her short THE DEATH OF TOYS. This is an unpaid position. The film will be shot July 24th-28th, and edited in the month following production. As a writer-director, Lisa has made a number of award-winning shorts; her feature screenplay THE POKER WARS won the Cinestory Screenwriting Awards and was a 2007 Finalist for the Nicholl Fellowships in Screenwriting. Job opportunity -- Assistant to founder/producer

A Santa Monica-based, high-profile film and TV production company is seeking an assistant to the founder/producer.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: heavy phones, correspondence, travel, calendar & contact management; review script submissions and prepare coverage; development research; create marketing packages, maintain pitch logs, and track outgoing projects; follow trades; some general office manager and receptionist duties.

College degree and 1 year agency or production company experience required. The ideal candidate will be proactive, hard-working, detail-oriented, and have a passion for film and TV. Excellent organizational and writing skills required. Must be a quick learner able to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure working environment. Must have a thick skin. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook. Salary is $400/week and does not include benefits or parking. Starts immediately.
